Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA/L1MA) to support residents in Missouri Memory Care communities. You will administer medications under licensed staff supervision and provide hands-on daily living assistance in a home-like, safe environment.

You’ll work with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure resident safety, routine, dignity, and quality of life, while coordinating with families and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or accepted.
• Completion of Certified Medication Aide / Level One course with MO certification.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff per MO regulations.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage/time/observations.
• Monitor responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with ADLs including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Record and report care details and intake/output accurately.
• Notify charge staff of changes in resident condition.
• Complete admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Support coworkers as needed and assist with tours when required.
