Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One Medication Aide – L1MA) to support residents in our Assisted Living Memory Care communities in Missouri. In this role, you’ll safely administer medications under the supervision of licensed staff while providing hands‑on support with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of CMA/Level One course with Missouri certification.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage, time, observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meals, mobility.
• Record and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers with assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms and common areas.
• Answer calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours.
