Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support residents in our Memory Care community in Troy, MO. The CMA administers medications and assists with daily living activities in a home-like setting under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
