Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents in our Missouri Memory Care communities. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment under licensed staff supervision.

This role requires MO CMA certification, strong attention to detail, and a resident-centered approach. Join our caring team and contribute to quality of life for seniors in memory care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff according to Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Observe and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist with tours when needed.
