Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Missouri seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One Medication Aide – L1MA) to support Memory Care residents in our Assisted Living communities. You will administer medications under licensed supervision and assist with daily living activities in a safe, home-like setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with Missouri certification.
• Active certification in good standing; willingness to complete community training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with ADLs, meals, and mobility.
• Document care and observations accurately and promptly.
• Observe changes in residents and report to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
