Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Memory Care community. In this role, you will administer prescribed medications, assist residents with daily living activities, and support nursing staff to ensure safe and person-centered care in a home-like setting.

You will work under licensed staff supervision, promoting dignity and comfort for residents living with memory loss.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested
