Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our Highland Crest Memory Care community. This part-time role involves safe medication administration and aiding residents with daily living in a home-like setting.

Under supervision, you will promote comfort, dignity, and consistent care for memory-impaired residents, with opportunities for growth and supportive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
