Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care to our residents. In this role, you’ll work under licensed nursing staff to ensure medications are given correctly, residents are monitored closely, and care is delivered with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
• Clear communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document dosing and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and intake/output.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members with requested help.
• Perform light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
