Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support memory care residents in a warm, team-focused environment. You will administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision and assist with activities of daily living in a home-like setting.

This full-time role offers 1st-3rd shifts, competitive pay between $15.25 and $15.50 per hour, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.
• Active certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
