Job summary

Churchill Terrace Assisted Living, part of Americare Senior Living, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA/L1MA) to administer medications and support residents in Memory Care. You will work closely with licensed staff to ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life in daily activities.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, monitoring responses, documenting care, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Accurately observe, record, and report resident care, conditions, concerns, and food intake/output.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours of the community as needed
