Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Missouri Memory Care communities is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support residents by safely administering medications under licensed staff supervision and assisting with daily living activities. You'll help maintain a safe, home-like environment for residents living with memory loss and provide families with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with Missouri certification.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under nursing supervision.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
• Support coworkers and participate in the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe memory care environment.
• Greet visitors and assist with tours as needed.
