Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA/L1MA) to support Memory Care residents in Missouri. You will administer medications under supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, home-like environment within a memory care setting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring resident safety and quality of life, while documenting care and reporting changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One certification in Missouri.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff per Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Record and report resident care, conditions, and intake/output.
• Notice changes in resident condition and inform charge staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers with additional tasks as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident rooms and common areas.
• Greet visitors, answer calls, and assist with tours.
