Job summary

Americare Senior Living seeks a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One) to support residents in Missouri Memory Care communities. You will safely administer medications under licensed staff supervision and assist with activities of daily living in a safe, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with Missouri certification.
• Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under nursing supervision according to Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Record and report care, conditions, and intake/output accurately.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
