Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA / L1MA) to support memory care residents. You will administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision and assist with daily living activities in a safe, home-like setting.

This role requires an active CMA/L1MA certification in Missouri, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) level, Missouri certification required.
• Completion of CMA / Med Level One course with certification.
• Active certification maintained in good standing.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision per Missouri regulations.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage and time.
• Monitor medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs).
• Record observations and nutrition/outputs, and report changes to staff.
• Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support coworkers and perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Answer calls, greet visitors, and assist with tours when appropriate.
