Brookdale in Dallas, TX seeks compassionate caregivers to provide dementia care within a supportive senior living community. You will follow individualized service plans to promote residents’ independence and well-being.

Responsibilities include daily living activities, feeding assistance, and documenting health changes while encouraging social engagement and respect for residents’ dignity. Brookdale offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; three to six months of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
• Ability to follow care plans and documentation requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provides dementia care including adapted ADLs, meaningful engagement and communication to residents following a person centered service plan.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers and meals as per individual plan.
• Maintains residents' records daily and reports changes in health or behavior to supervisor.
• May assist with medication per state regulations where permitted and follows medication policies.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and follows cleaning schedules.
• Encourages independence and social engagement through daily programs and resident life activities.
• Supports teamwork and communicates effectively with co-workers and leadership.
