Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Programming Coordinator, Memory Care for a part-time role. You will create and lead engaging activities that enhance residents' quality of life and participation in meaningful programs.

Responsibilities include planning the monthly calendar, coordinating performers, and encouraging resident involvement through friendly, personalized interactions.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience as Programming Coordinator (Activities).
• Proficient in Internet resources and current technology.
• Valid driver's license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement activities and events for residents.
• Develop monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Assist in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Influence and encourage residents to participate through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist in providing medical transportation and outings under guidelines; support director in logistics.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.
