Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC in Kansas is seeking a part-time Programming Coordinator, Memory Care to plan and lead engaging activities that elevate residents' quality of life and create meaningful social experiences.

You will help develop the monthly calendar, coordinate performers, and encourage participation while assisting with transportation and vehicle logistics as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous Programming Coordinator (Activities) experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Internet resources and current technology.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and at least 3 years driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement adult-centric activities to engage residents.
• Develop a monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational offerings.
• Arrange groups, organizations, and individuals to perform or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist the Director in transportation planning, outings, and community vehicle logistics.
• Support residents with entering and exiting community vehicles as needed.
