Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a Program Coordinator for Memory Care to create and lead engaging activities that enhance resident quality of life. The role supports scheduling, coordinating, and procuring performers and services to provide a balanced calendar of cultural, spiritual, social, and recreational options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous programming/activities coordinator experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient using Internet resources and technology.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and at least 3 years driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement engaging adult-centric activities and events.
• Develop monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical and recreational activities.
• Arrange groups/individuals to perform or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive interactions.
• Assist Director of Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation within guidelines and outings.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.
