Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Program Coordinator, Memory Care to create engaging, resident-focused activities that enhance quality of life. You will help plan monthly calendars, coordinate performers and outings, and support transportation within community guidelines.

Ideal candidates will be 21+, have a high school diploma, and bring a customer-service mindset with comfort using technology.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Programming Coordinator (Activities) experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in using Internet resources and current technology.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and at least 3 years driving experience.
• Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement adult-centric activities and events.
• Develop and maintain a monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational activities.
• Procure groups, organizations, or individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation and outings.
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicles.
