Job summary

Oakmont Of Redwood City is seeking an Activity Coordinator to organize and promote engaging memory care activities, supporting residents' independence and quality of life. You will assist the Memory Care Director in creating a vibrant social atmosphere within Traditions Memory Care and coordinate diverse programs for residents.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential, as is a willingness to drive community vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere throughout Traditions Memory Care.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, and events.
• Communicate effectively and display tact with residents, families, visitors, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and encourage teamwork across departments.
