The role supports residents' independence and quality of life, coordinating excursions, events, and classes in line with the community's mission.

Responsibilities include assisting the Memory Care Director, ensuring safety, communicating with residents and families, and driving community vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license; Class B preferred to transport residents.
• Able to operate a computer and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Health protocols may be required to prevent disease spread per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a creative, rewarding social atmosphere.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled activities, excursions, and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and residents.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support interdepartmental collaboration.
