Job summary

Oakmont Of Redwood City seeks an Activity Coordinator to organize and direct engaging activities for residents in Traditions Memory Care, enhancing independence and quality of life. You will support the Memory Care Director and promote participation through diverse events and outings.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and ability to operate a PC with MS Office; driving residents may be needed. Prior memory care activity experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license; Class B preferred to transport residents.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Vaccination/testing/ PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in creating an engaging social atmosphere in Traditions area.
• Promote resident participation through activities, excursions, events, and clubs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support transport as needed.
