Job summary

Oakmont Of Redwood City, a premier senior living community, seeks an Activity Coordinator for the Memory Care unit. The role focuses on organizing, promoting, and directing activities to enhance residents' independence and quality of life in line with company values.

The position requires strong communication, a high school diploma, and ideally one year of senior activity coordination. Driving a community vehicle is required, and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for resident transport.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere in the Traditions area.
• Promote resident participation through high-quality activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
