Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Traditions Memory Care in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on organizing, scheduling, promoting, and directing activities to enhance residents’ independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate may need to drive community vehicles, has a high school diploma, and preferably one year of senior activity coordination experience. A compassionate, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Vaccination and PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing a rewarding social atmosphere throughout Traditions Memory Care.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork with other departments.
