Oakmont of Camarillo is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care to organize engaging daily activities and excursions, enhancing residents' independence and quality of life. The role supports the Memory Care Director and requires driving community vehicles and fostering a warm, participatory atmosphere.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, possibly one year coordinating senior activities, and be proficient with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Current Class C driver license; Class B preferred for transporting residents.
• Able to operate a PC and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, promote, facilitate, and direct activities and excursions.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles and support teamwork across departments.
