Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Activity Coordinator for the Memory Care unit. The role supports organizing, scheduling, promoting, and directing resident activities to enhance independence and quality of life within the Traditions Memory Care area.

Responsibilities include creating a engaging social atmosphere, coordinating events, and ensuring safety. Requires 18+, High School diploma, and preference for 1 year of senior activity coordination. Driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Vaccination and safety protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the secured Traditions area.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, and events.
• Communicate effectively and with tact with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
