Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Draper Place seeks a dedicated Life Guidance team member to lead activity programs and create engaging plans that enhance daily living for residents.

You will coordinate diverse recreational activities with supervision, involve staff in daily planning, and tailor programs to individual needs, including celebrations and room-bound residents. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must know methods of recreational therapy/apply to dementia care.
• Certifications may be required per state regulations.
• Able to work varied schedules and shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Offers adequate and diversified recreational activities to residents with supervision.
• Involves Life Guidance staff in planning daily activities, including ADLs.
• Plans individual birthday celebrations for each resident.
• Develops programs for residents, including those confined to rooms.
