You will plan, supervise, and document activities that support seniors with Alzheimer’s/Dementia and encourage participation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of recreational therapy or activity programming, and flexibility to work varied schedules.

• Working knowledge of recreational therapy methods for residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
• Required state certifications where applicable.
• Able to work varied schedules and shifts.
• Leads Life Guidance programs and develops service plans.
• Plans and supports daily activities and birthday celebrations.

• Lead Life Guidance programs and develop service plans.
• Develop and implement engaging activities for residents.
• Maintain participation records and ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Collaborate with Life Guidance Director and volunteers to run the activity calendar.
