Job summary

EY invites an experienced AI Software Architect to lead memory and context architecture for enterprise multi-agent systems. You will design replicated architectures, drive RAG-enabled context systems, and optimize inference with distributed approaches.

This role emphasizes hands-on coding, mentoring, and collaboration across AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams within EY’s hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Proficiency with AI native development tools and code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with Python, Bash and languages such as Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design, model fine-tuning and context management (RAG, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI native systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic chunking with search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against agent and human evals.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements via AI native design process.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging technology as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and assist IP development.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring for Knowledge/Data team.
