HAMMER AND NAILS southbay is seeking a Sales Associate to drive revenue through memberships, gift cards, and product sales in a fast-paced grooming concept focused on men’s hair, hand, and foot care. You will upsell services, schedule client appointments, and provide a friendly, energetic welcome to every guest.

Success hinges on strong sales ability, excellent customer service, and the ability to guide clients to service options while maintaining a smooth check-out process.

Qualifications

• Strong sales background with memberships.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the POS system (Zenoti) is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and negotiate effectively.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell memberships, gift cards, and retail products.
• Upsell services to increase revenue.
• Schedule appointments and manage bookings via POS system.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Address client concerns and communicate shop policies clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist staff as needed.
• Assist in inventory management of beverages and supplies.
