Job summary

AAA Club Alliance in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Retail Membership Sales Specialist to drive membership sales, engage customers in-store, and provide expert guidance on membership options. The role includes processing memberships, upselling, and supporting related services in a full-time, retail environment.

The position offers base pay with incentive potential, regular hours, and comprehensive benefits. A Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain is required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with multiple websites and computer programs.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pre- and post-employment screenings including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Sell and process new AAA memberships, upsell upgrades and add-ons.
• Engage membership base through in-store sales, inquiries, and outbound calls.
• Document leads and interactions with clear records for future reference.
• Serve as the go-to person in the store for membership inquiries and support.
• Assist in cashiering, tag and title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.
