AAA Club Alliance in Roanoke, VA is hiring a full-time Retail Membership Sales Specialist. You will sell memberships, upsell upgrades, and engage with customers in-store to meet sales goals.

You will document all leads, provide expert membership guidance, and support cashiering and related services as needed. The role requires at least three years in sales and customer service, strong communication, and a Notary qualification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of sales and customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and programs for multitasking in a retail environment.
• Satisfactory pre-employment screenings including criminal, drug, and other checks.

Responsibilities

• Sell and process new AAA memberships, upsell and cross-sell upgrades and add-ons.
• Drive engagement with membership base through in-store sales, inquiries, and outbound calls.
• Welcome new members, present promotions, and discuss upgrade opportunities.
• Document all leads and interactions for future reference.
• Serve as the go-to person for all membership inquiries and guidance; assist cashiering and related services when needed.

Effectively welcome new members, present enticing promotions, and initiate discussions about upgrade opportunities.Ensure all leads and interactions are accurately documented, maintaining clear records for future reference.Serve as the go-to person in the store for all membership-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to customersServe as backup by assisting in the functions of Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.What you will need:Bring a minimum of three (3) years of sales and customer service experience to the table, demonstrating your ability to drive results and exceed expectations.Showcase effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.Navigate multiple websites and programs with ease, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.High school diploma or equivalent requiredSatisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.
