National Federation of Independent Business is seeking a high-energy Membership Sales Representative for in-person, community-based outreach. You’ll meet owners where they are and present NFIB’s impact, inviting them to join a national movement that champions independent business.

Training and support help you succeed in a performance-driven environment. The role is hunter/closer oriented, offering uncapped earning potential, structured goals, and a clear sales process.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct sales or willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to communicate NFIB's value propositions clearly.
• Proven ability to handle objections and close enrollments.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, in-person sales process.
• Demonstrated resilience and drive to exceed targets.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB's proven, 5-minute sales presentation with confidence and urgency.
• Build fast rapport and convey NFIB's mission clearly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
