Job summary

HOTWORX Asheville is seeking a part-time Membership Sales Associate to welcome guests, tour the studio, and close memberships. You’ll grow our member base, follow up with leads, and ensure a great guest experience in our Biltmore Village studio.

The role also covers customer service, social media content creation, and studio operations. If you are sales-minded, outgoing, reliable, and passionate about fitness, this position offers bonuses and opportunities for advancement as the studio grows.

Membership Sales Associate

HOTWORX Asheville - Biltmore Village

Part-Time | $16-$18/hour + Quarterly Performance Bonuses

HOTWORX Asheville is looking for a motivated, dependable, and outgoing Membership Sales Associate to join our team in beautiful Asheville, NC.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a sales-focused environment, and takes pride in creating a great experience for every member and prospective member who walks through our doors.

As a Membership Sales Associate, you will play an important role in growing our membership, following up with leads and prospects, supporting member retention, and representing the HOTWORX Asheville brand both in the studio and online.

What You'll Do

Membership Sales & Growth

• Welcome and engage prospective members and guests

• Conduct studio tours and explain the HOTWORX workout experience

• Conduct Red Appointments/free workout sessions with prospective members

• Follow up with leads, prospects, guests, and trial participants

• Sell memberships and complete all membership paperwork and system requirements accurately

• Educate new members on studio procedures, the HOTWORX app, and available amenities

• Follow up with new members to help them get started and stay engaged

• Actively contribute to monthly and quarterly membership growth goals

• Participate in local prospecting, promotions, events, and other membership-growth activities

Customer Experience & Retention

• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service

• Build relationships with members and prospective members

• Help members understand HOTWORX programs, challenges, retail, and other available resources

• Address member questions and concerns appropriately and elevate when needed

• Help create a welcoming, clean, organized, and positive studio environment

Social Media & Marketing

• Create and post social media content for HOTWORX Asheville

• Capture photos and videos in the studio

• Assist with Reels, Stories, posts, promotions, and member-focused content

• Engage with our online community

• Contribute ideas for content and local marketing

• Represent HOTWORX Asheville professionally online and in the community

Studio Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing responsibilities as assigned

• Maintain studio cleanliness and organization

• Follow HOTWORX procedures and daily/weekly checklists

• Properly use SAIL POS and other required systems

• Maintain accurate member and prospect information

• Complete assigned administrative and marketing tasks

• Maintain professional appearance and follow company dress and conduct standards

• Arrive on time and be prepared to work scheduled shifts

• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through without repeated reminders

Previous sales, customer service, fitness, or social media experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts during our studio operating hours.

Our current studio hours are:

• Monday-Thursday: 11 AM-8 PM

• Friday: 9 AM-6 PM

• Saturday: 9 AM-2 PM

Weekend availability, including Saturdays, is required.
