Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in membership services or related field.
• Experience supervising or leading a team preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with membership management software (Daxko preferred) or CRM systems; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and staff development abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze problems, exercise judgment, and make appropriate decisions.
• Ability to learn new technology and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of budgeting, cash handling, inventory control, and financial accountability.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Commitment to the YMCA mission and inclusive culture.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens training or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Completion of required YMCA trainings and passing background check.
• Reliable transportation for community outreach and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership growth and engagement through prospecting, retention, and relationship-building.
• Provide guidance and supervision for front desk staff and volunteers, recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
• Oversee daily membership operations including check-ins, processing, registrations, and use of Daxko and other systems.
• Promote YMCA programs and services, manage leads, support marketing, and maximize enrollment.
• Represent the YMCA in the community by coordinating events and developing partnerships.
• Administer membership support functions such as scholarships, collections, facility rentals, and merchandise inventory.
• Maintain operational excellence by monitoring front desk operations and staffing levels; document updates.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk management standards; enforce dress code and emergency protocols.
• Participate in leadership meetings and other duties to support branch operations.
• Model exceptional customer service and professional behavior with members, guests, volunteers, and staff.
