Job summary

Kankakee Area YMCA is seeking a Membership Coordinator to oversee daily operations of the Membership department, drive sales, and ensure top-tier member experiences. You will lead front desk staff, manage scheduling, and track performance against targets in a fast-paced community-based YMCA.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coach staff, manage tours and follow-up, and ensure accurate data within the membership system.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in operations, customer service, or supervisory roles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a large team.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership sales and revenue growth for the branch.
• Supervise front desk staff and Membership Associates.
• Oversee tours, follow-up, and conversion to memberships.
• Maintain accurate membership data and SOP adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments to align programs and membership efforts.
