Job summary

The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking a Membership Experience Director to lead the Center Membership and Family Experience teams. You will support the DVP/Executive Director in supervising the Membership Experience Leaders and oversee administration and program management of Family Programs, Stay ‘N Play, Interactive Zone and Birthday Party rentals.

You will drive program development, ensure excellent member service, and promote memberships and programs while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

Minimum two years experience as a coordinator or supervisor of membership and/or child care programs.
Strong management and development skills to facilitate positive relationships with participants, members, staff and volunteers.
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Degree preferred in Business, Early Childhood Education or related field or working towards a degree in the above areas.

Responsibilities

Supervise Membership Experience Leaders and manage Family Programs, Stay ‘N Play, Interactive Zone and Birthday Party rentals.
Develop and implement programming for Stay and Play, Interactive Zone, Youth and Family Programs.
Achieve sales goals for memberships and renewals; promote programs.
Ensure high quality service and safety; coordinate registrations.
Schedule staff and cover shortages; maintain operations.
Represent YMCA at community events and support Annual Giving Campaign.
