Ymca-of-Greater-Brandywine is seeking a Membership Associate to warmly welcome visitors and connect members with programs and resources. The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and friendly, positive interactions with families.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED, being 15 years or older, and a preference for childcare experience. Training and certifications are provided within 90 days of hire.

• Experience with children preferred.
• Obtain and maintain new hire certifications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and whereabouts of children in the group at all times.
• Greet parents and children daily using names in interactions.
• Maintain clean, risk-free room arrangement and records (sign-in sheets, attendance).
• Report parental concerns to supervisor and follow up as needed.
• Use positive behavior management tools and YMCA voice at all times.
• Adhere to all policies and perform related duties as assigned.
