Job summary

AAA is seeking a Sales Agent to drive insurance product and membership sales, primarily offsite, with a focus on needs-based recommendations and strong member guidance. You will quote rates, perform vehicle/property inspections when needed, and maintain accurate documentation following underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities include servicing members via multiple channels, reviewing policies for cross-sell opportunities, and supporting retention and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1-3 years Insurance sales/service preferred.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills required.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel required.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and memberships and develop a successful sales strategy to meet targets.
• Conduct needs analysis to quote rates, qualify applicants, and inspect vehicles or property.
• Provide service to members in person, by phone, email, or mail and update records.
• Conduct policy reviews and identify cross-sell opportunities to increase retention and referrals.
• Collect payments and maintain security of club monies and receipts.
• Attend meetings, training and seminars for professional development.
