Job summary

One Medical in San Francisco seeks a Members Support Specialist (Administrative Assistant) to act as the ambassador for patients in the office, ensuring a seamless, compassionate front-desk experience and helping remove barriers to care.

You will master our tech tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR), handle check-ins, scheduling, and provide support to providers, with a focus on patient satisfaction and a welcoming lobby environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously
• Competitive hourly pay: $24.00 per hour based on a full time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid, positive in-office experience from intake to scheduling and follow up
• Manage front-of-house duties including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork, prep tests, and service level expectations
• Contribute to team development through rounds, team huddles, problem solving, and support for in-office providers
• Master our technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) to interact with team members and patients
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee spaces
