Job summary

One Medical in Darien, CT seeks a Float Member Support Specialist to ensure a seamless patient experience and act as the first point of contact for feedback. You will manage scheduling, help with insurance verification, and maintain a welcoming lobby in a dynamic, in‑person setting.

You’ll collaborate with the practice team, use the full tech stack (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR), and cover nearby offices as needed, delivering compassionate service that aligns with One Medical standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven teams.
• Ability to adapt and take action under pressure with a forward-thinking approach.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver impeccable patient interactions using C-I-CARE framework in person.
• Handle front of house duties: check in/out, insurance verification, paperwork.
• Support team development through rounds, huddles, and problem solving.
• Master technology tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) for daily tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain office appearance.
