Job summary

One Medical in the United States is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist (Flex Member Support Specialist) who will serve as the first point of contact for patients and support multiple offices within a market. You will manage patient intake, scheduling, and provide front-desk support with strong empathy and communication.

You will work with a team to ensure a welcoming lobby experience, handle insurance verifications, and assist providers and office staff while mastering our technology stack

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven teams.
• Proficiency with typing, internet navigation and using multiple software systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE to ensure a fluid, positive in-office patient experience, including intake, same-day scheduling, and follow-up scheduling.
• Perform front-of-house duties: check-in/out, insurance verification, printing, paperwork, test prep, tasking to service level expectations.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles and cross-functional support.
• Master Slack, G-suite, Zoom and One Medical's EMR 1Life to interact with team and patients.
• Open/close duties and maintain look/feel of patient and staff spaces; restock supplies.
