Job summary

Metro Credit Union is seeking a Sales & Service Representative for the Chelsea branch. The role involves assisting members with account openings, loans, and product referrals at the Chelsea location, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and cross-selling opportunities.

You will handle transactions, support branch goals, and participate in training programs to grow within the credit union. This full-time position requires strong communication and reliable, customer-centered performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year banking experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use office equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits/withdrawals, loan payments and payoffs, official checks and money orders, cash advances.
• Balance work daily within defined balancing guidelines.
• Provide information on Metro Credit Union policies and procedures to members.
• Perform needs assessment to determine best financial solution or product for members.
• Verify account opening requirements and required signatures.
