Job summary

The position emphasizes cross-training in both operational and customer service tasks, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and community involvement. A High School diploma and cash handling experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of two years of customer service or related experience required.
• Cash handling experience is helpful.
• Effective customer service, verbal and written communication, mathematics, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task; able to use various office equipment and demonstrate banking technology.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers on the retail floor; educate and inform through experiences and digital presentations; provide courteous service.
• Know bank products and services and identify customer needs to offer tailored solutions; open and process accounts; onboarding and retention.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, and other teller transactions.
• Assist with account maintenance, CD renewals, address changes, and online/mobile banking demonstrations.
• Balance transactions and cash; assist with ATM balancing and branch opening/closing duties.
• Ensure accurate processing and documentation of transactions.
• Promote bank products and participate in community affairs.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements; perform other duties as needed.
