Planet Fitness in New Bedford, MA is hiring a Member Services Representative to deliver outstanding customer service in our Judgement Free Zone. You will greet guests, assist with check-ins, promote the studio’s environment, and help members progress in their fitness journeys.

You will handle sign-ups, updates, and billing tasks, meet sales goals, and perform tours for prospective members. Daily duties include cleaning, frontline support, and coordinating with the Club Manager for any issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter/exit the club and assist with questions or check-ins.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by engaging with members on the club floor and supporting their fitness journey.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to Club Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership-related tasks: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and processing payments.
• Aim to meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Conduct tours for prospective members to assess needs.
• Process retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and Recovery Zone areas; restrooms included.
• Identify maintenance or safety issues and communicate them promptly.
