Job summary

University of Richmond Weinstein Recreation Center is hiring an Assistant for Member Services. You will greet visitors, provide information, enroll members in Fusion, and support daily operations with a focus on friendly, inclusive service.

Weekly hours are under 20; duties include locker assignments, cash handling, and assisting with program registrations. CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; you will work closely with students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Dependable and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Current CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors and members.
• Provide current program and schedule information to members by phone and in person.
• Assist members with creating FusionGo app and member portal access.
• Enroll members in the Fusion system and register for programs or services.
• Process guest fee transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and assist with daily facility operations.
