Job summary

FIRST SERVICE CREDIT UNION is seeking a friendly frontline associate to deliver superior member service and handle a range of teller transactions. You will maintain a positive, efficient branch environment and ensure each member feels prioritized.

The role requires up to six months in banking or cash handling, a high school diploma or GED, and strong interpersonal skills. You may assist with various branch duties and support teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of experience in the banking industry and/or cash handling.
• A high school education or GED is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and anti-money laundering basics is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle member transactions in person, by mail, or by phone, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and currency exchanges.
• Issue checks and cash-related products as requested.
• Balance daily cash drawer and negotiables; assist with balancing branch negotiables when needed.
• Update personal and account information and open new accounts as required.
• Answer telephone inquiries promptly and forward messages accurately.
• Promote products and services based on member needs and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Be flexible to travel to other branches for back-up and work Saturdays when required.
