Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ months’ experience interacting with customers/members or equivalent demonstrated through work experience or training.
• Member service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Experience working with others on a team to meet member needs.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
• Well organized, independent and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines.
• Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions, oversee cash withdrawals and check deposits.
• Support member engagement by processing teller transactions and introductions to member service representatives.
• Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies.
• Perform routine transactional, operational, and member service support tasks efficiently through knowledge of credit union procedures and products.
• Receive directions from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
• Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles.
• Interact with members to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions.
