Job summary

Coastal Community FCU in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Teller to process member transactions and assist with daily cash handling. You will provide accurate service, welcome members, and smoothly route questions to the appropriate service representatives.

Daily duties include completing operational tasks, following policies, and identifying potential fraud or risk while building relationships with members and colleagues. Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months’ experience interacting with customers/members.
• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Ability to identify potential fraud and prevent loss.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Proactive relationship building with members and colleagues.
• Well organized and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist with teller transactions and introductions to member services.
• Complete operational activities while minimizing risk.
• Respond to directions from managers and adhere to policies.
• Escalate questions to more experienced roles.
• Interact with members to provide care and complete requested transactions.
• Work with partners across the organization.
