Job summary

Greater Nevada Credit Union, a division of America First, is seeking a Teller to deliver exceptional member service and financial solutions at our Northwest Reno Branch. You will handle diverse transactions, promote products, and build trust with members in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive engagement to help members achieve their financial goals within a community-driven setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, financial services, or similar)
• 6+ months cash handling experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assess needs to provide friendly, professional service
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy
• Balance cash drawers and maintain proper cash levels
• Educate members on GNCU products and services and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies to protect member confidentiality and prevent fraud
